2026 Notes for Nurses
Notes for Nurses is a fundraiser for Cumberland University's Rudy School of Nursing and Health Professions. Funds raised enable the program to purchase new simulation equipment and provide much-needed scholarship support for nursing students.

Event Impact
Previous Notes for Nurses events have hosted more than 2,600 guests and raised over $700,000, with net proceeds from these events supporting scholarships and simulation equipment for the Jeanette C. Rudy School of Nursing and Health Professions.
To date, Cumberland University has graduated more than 2,000 nurses that are employed in more than 20 hospitals and health agencies across Middle Tennessee. In a post-pandemic world, Cumberland is more eager than ever to provide aid in combating a climate of nursing shortages with a reaffirmed and reinforced staple of nursing education - a strong foundation of nursing fundamentals.
It is Cumberland's mission to inspire all of our students to lead impactful lives in their communities. Our Nursing students not only use their knowledge and compassion in their chosen field after graduation, but while they are still students preparing for life beyond the classroom. Our students have hosted various vaccination clinics locally, administering flu shots and COVID vaccines. Recently, the Rudy School has hosted Heartbeat Hero's Nursing Camps specifically for local high school students interested in learning more about what the profession requires and what it can provide professionally and personally.
With the upcoming Annual Notes for Nurses, you have the opportunity to be a part of the growth and continued success of one of Cumberland's most iconic and transformative programs.
