As a nurse, every patient you treat is someone’s favorite person. Someone’s loved one. Someone’s everything. Nurses are called to a service so much greater than themselves, and we were so honored to help celebrate them at our event, Notes for Nurses at Cumberland University. With over 200 in attendance on Saturday, we had many moving healthcare professionals speak to the great need of the roles and how CU alums are directly affecting this community. We even helped raise over $115,000 to support current students by way of scholarships to ease the financial burden of a college education and over $40,000 of that was a result of a compelling call to action.

Our nurses are crucial to the fabric and health of our Wilson County community and beyond. We are humbled by the strong support of our Cumberland Family and can’t thank everyone enough. Your support not only gives our students incredible advantages, but it also gives our community empathetic healers. Our hope is that if you missed Notes for Nurses this year, you can join us for the next one.
