"Receiving this scholarship has impacted my life, not only as a student, but also as a single mother of two amazing children. Each day I balance the responsibilities of working, attending school, and providing for my family. I talk to my kids and let them know that this season of life is temporary. The sacrifices being made are for them, and they are the reason I continue to push forward and never give up on my dreams. This scholarship has helped ease the financial burden that often comes with pursing higher education. It has allowed me to focus more on my studies and less on the consistent stress of how I will afford tuition, books, and other educational expenses. This scholarship has given me hope and reassurance that I am not alone on this journey. Others believe in my potential.
